Sikkim Manipal University – Distance Education has taken another leap in supporting the careers of its students. The university provides employment assistance to its students through its dedicated placement cell, iRize.
The SMU-DE iRize placement assistance for students is through:
- Online portal
- Job Fairs/ Placement Drives conducted Countrywide
Online Placement Assistance
Students/Alumni can register for placements through the portal. The services offered here are:
- Build and manage profiles
- Search for jobs online
- Post job openings
And, the step-by step instruction for online registration is as follows
- Click on http://www.smude.edu.in/PlacementPreLogin/Pages/PlacementsRegister.aspx. Fill in the details in the form and upload your resume and click on “Register”.
- The registration request would be sent to the placement cell for approval.
- If the details are found to be correct, the registration will be approved and a confirmation e-mail will be sent.
- Once the id is activated, simply Log in, search or apply online for jobs and click through the many opportunities!
Job Fairs
SMU-DE & iRize conduct Job fairs on a regular basis across the country. The placement drive can be initiated by any of the LCs of the university, where in students/ alumni from that region or from the country as a whole can participate.
The job fairs feature some of the best and the sought-after employers from the industry, who offer an exciting and challenging range of job-roles
